How Human Parrot Began
The name Human Parrot didn’t come from a branding exercise or a long search for the perfect title. It arrived in a moment of pure, ordinary humanity—one of those chance encounters that stays with you long after it ends.
I was sitting in a café, working quietly on my laptop, when a woman nearby began to speak with me. It wasn’t planned, and it wasn’t small talk. She had a lot to share—things she had clearly been carrying for a long time. I listened, reflected, and held space for her as she spoke. There was no advice, no fixing, no agenda. Just presence, empathy, and the simple act of being with another human being.
When she finally stood to leave, I could see the shift in her. She looked lighter, unburdened, as if something inside her had loosened. I glanced at the time and realised an hour and a half had passed without either of us noticing. I felt emotionally drained, yes—but also deeply grateful. It felt like a privilege to witness someone in that way.
As she walked out the door, I whispered to myself, almost laughing at the truth of it:
“Wow… that was a proper human parrot.”
The name stayed. Because that moment captured the heart of what I do: listening deeply, reflecting gently, and helping people hear themselves. Kelly
“When you experience a profound connection with someone, it is not only life-changing, but life-sustaining. No longer do you walk the road alone, but alongside a similar soul who has your best interests at heart.”
What I Offer
Human Parrot is a space for honest conversation, emotional clarity, and intuitive reflection. My work is not clinical therapy. It is a human, relational, spiritually aware approach to support—rooted in presence, compassion, and the belief that people often find their own answers when they feel truly heard.
The Way I Listen
I listen with my whole attention: to your words, your tone, your pauses, your energy. I reflect what I hear—not to repeat it, but to help you recognise what’s already inside you. This kind of listening can bring clarity, grounding, and a sense of returning to yourself.
How I Hold Space
I meet you without judgment, without pressure, and without expectation. Whether you’re navigating confusion, transition, heartbreak, or simply the weight of being human, this is a place where you can speak freely and breathe more deeply.
Because people carry so much quietly.
Because being heard changes things.
Because clarity often arrives when someone reflects your truth back to you.
Because that café moment wasn’t an accident—it was a reminder of what I’m here to do.
Why I Do This Work
Human Parrot is the continuation of that moment: a space where you can lay down what you’re carrying, speak openly, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom..
A Closing Note
You don’t need to prepare anything before coming.
You don’t need to know what you want to say.
You don’t need to be polished or certain or strong.
Just come as you are. I’ll meet you there.
